Pattern making is an art. It is the art of manipulating and shaping a flat piece of fabric to conform to one or more curves of the human figure. Pattern making is a bridge function between design and production. A sketch can be turned into a garment via a pattern which interprets the design in the form of the garment components.
In collaboration with TUMO Studios we accomplished a very important training for designers on pattern making, teaching brands and designers technical skills behind creating and constructing patterns. The practical training consisted of two phase courses, running from April to May, 2018 and 16 participants start-up designers and students took part in it.
